Get a Dryver… From SPAR

Last week I wrote an article about the “Drive-Dry” campaign and promoting the “drive dry” attitude amongst friends, family and fellow countrymen of South Africa. After writing the article, I was contacted about a new app from SPAR, called “Dryver” and thought you might like to know a bit more…

This led them to launching, a SA first, social network incorporated and innovative new app aimed at people who are out and over the legal drinking limit, but don’t want to drink and drive.

With the new zero drinking limit legislation imminent, TOPS at SPAR has taken the lead in addressing the issue,...

2012 Recap – The Moments that Made 2012

There’s no doubt that 2012 was a year to remember, for good or for worse. Who thought we would see 2013, with the Mayan apocalypse conspiracy and all that? Some events in the 2012 may have affected, for better or worse, some more than others.

I started thinking of my great-grandmother, one of my good friends Tegan and another friend of mine Jamin who passed away this year… All sad memories...

This is because built into the operating system (iOS) the keyboard auto correct / dictionary has a learning mechanism that learns words you type and use often and eventually takes them as the norm, and so it starts suggesting them to you while typing, simply trying to make your life easier…

When this gets a bit much, you always used to be able to go to your settings and just “reset keyboard dictionary”… But for some reason, since the release of iOS5, a few people have an issue where they can’t reset their keyboard doing the above method… Last night, after playing around wit...
